What is wellness coaching?
When you sign up for wellness coaching, we'll work with you to help achieve any goals you have in relation to your health and wellness. That might be to lose weight, to get stronger, to feel less tired, to improve your sports performance. You'll have a weekly video call with Nicky to initially talk through your goals and then to discuss barriers, successes and progress towards those goals.
Nicky uses an asset building approach to achieving wellness related goals. Asset building involves focus on adding positive health behaviors rather than abstaining from negative behaviors. Ultimately this results in greater self esteem and confidence in your ability to implement positive health behaviors into your day.
Meet your coach.
Nicky is a health education specialist with a Masters Degree in Health Education, Certified Health Education Specialist & Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula. She is a Les Mills BodyPump instructor and a Level 1 TRX instructor. Additionally Nicky has sports coaching certifications in basketball, cycling, swimming, rounders, show jumping & netball.
Nicky is a former professional show jumping rider. She has completed four marathons & a two Ironman triathlons. Nicky now competes in endurance mountain bike races.
